COVID precautions and safe travel will always be our #1 priority. With that being said, please RSVP accurately and promptly via this site. Please base your decision on your willingness to commit to 1) traveling to Maui and 2) following the necessary travel precautions.
See here for Hawaii's updated COVID guide for safe travel to and from their islands. As of now, Hawaii's government and airline COVID-precautions require proof of a negative test taken within 72-hours before boarding your flight to avoid quarantine.
At this time Hawaii will only accept Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab test results from TRUSTED TESTING AND TRAVEL PARTNERS.
Please plan accordingly when planning the days leading up to your flight.
As the vaccine becomes more available we will be updating this information to reflect Maui/Hawaii's summer 2021
travel guidelines. Take some time to research and review. We are happy to chat anytime if questions come up, Mahalo!
The Kahului Airport (OGG) accommodates flights via several airlines both domestic and international. Hawaiian Airlines, United Airlines, Delta Airlines, American Airlines and Alaskan Airlines are all airlines available. We ask that our guests book flight dates and times that best fit their schedule. West Maui and the Ritz-Carlton is located about 35 miles (approximately 60 minutes by car) from the airport. Due to the distance and island time drivers we recommend staying in West Maui, specifically Kaanapali or Kapalua around the time of the wedding.
From the Kahului Airport several transportation options are available. It is most convenient to rent a car if you like having more flexibility or plan to take day trips around the island during your stay. Budget, Enterprise, Alamo, etc. are all available rental options. Rental cars are predicted to be in demand this summer in Maui. That being said, if you have not booked a rental car and wish to do so, please book asap. Airport Shuttles, Uber, private drivers, and taxis are also available on the island. If you are a guest at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua Resort shuttle is available for transportation to nearby beaches, restaurants, shopping, and golf courses within Kapalua Resort.
Matt and Ashlin will be staying at this property a few days before and after the wedding

The dress code for our wedding is a beach formal event. Ladies should wear cocktail or long dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. For women, fancy sandals, wedges, flats, or thicker heels are ideal as the ceremony is on grass. For men, dress shoes or a nice pair of shoes that compliment the suits or slacks are required. Shorts, flip-flops, and beach-wear are not permitted. We will not be on sand for the ceremony or reception.
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The dinner and reception will be indoors in a large ballroom.
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. We urge that you make your final decision by May 31, 2021 so that we can keep an accurate guest count for the resort.
We will be hosting a cocktail hour with appetizers followed by a sit down station dinner for our reception. A full bar will be available at the reception. Please indicate on the RSVP form any dietary restrictions so we can inform the hotel.
